Compressor Equipment: recommended for salons or busy spray technicians. Compressors are quieter than turbines. They only run/operate to build up pressure in a cylinder. Compressors are ideal for high volume use (lots of sprays), salons or tan parties. Compressors can be hand held or you may prefer a 'Mobile Trolley System' which houses the equipment and some have extra storage (for solutions and creams etc) making it easy to carry all your kit. If you're serious about making a living spray tanning, a compressor is good value for money! |
 |
Turbine Equipment: recommended for personal home use or low volume spray tanning. A Turbine is generally noisier than a compressor and unless stated are NOT suitable for high volume use (eg. tan parties). A fan runs continually during use (like a hairdryer) forcing a large volume of air to the spray gun. If you anticipate you may be spraying a large number of people in one session a cheaper turbine runs the risk of overheating. By their design turbines are generally cheaper than compressors. Good entry level equipment.

Popup Cubicle: This is an essential piece of kit for any mobile spray technician or salon. A simple and easy way to help contain over spray with maximum flexibility, reduce your hours of cleaning and free up precious workspace. This contemporary black cubicle offers many benefits, erects and collapses in seconds! You will be amazed at how easy it is to erect with no poles, just unfold to open and fold away in less than 30 seconds. Stores in a circular bag with shoulder straps, so you can carry the rest of your kit effortlessly and professionally. |

Extractor Fan: For cleaner air consider adding an extractor as the perfect partner to the spray tan cubicle. A fan vastly reduces mist and particle deposits and provides effective, quiet ventilation. Leave the extractor on for 5 minutes after completing the tan to ensure a reduction in over spray. Simply plug in and position behind your client on the floor (or back of the popup cubicle). As you spray, the air will be sucked in through the system and process clean air through the other side. |

Solution: Solutions can be used in almost any type of spray tan equipment (check with the supplier first). Remember your clients have different skin types and you may offer DHA shades for winter/summer spray tans. Prices vary between suppliers which you should take into consideration when calculating profits per spray. Click here for more details
